OUR MONTESSORI SCHOOL IN GUELPH
The Montessori School of Wellington was founded in 1996 and is located at 2 Samuel Drive in a beautiful residential area of Guelph, Ontario. We are the only CCMA Accredited Montessori School in the Royal City!
CCMA (Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators) is the only ruling body that inspects Montessori schools to ensure they are offering authentic Montessori education — and we are proud that our Guelph preschool and elementary school have received these accreditations.
An authentic Montessori School has an accredited Montessori teacher, mixed age classrooms, and a learning environment that adheres to the Montessori philosophy.

WHAT IS MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL?
The purpose of our Montessori Preschool Program is to prepare children for life: to have self-respect, to treat others and their environment with respect, to seek their own truth, think for themselves, and to not blindly follow the demands of others.
Most programs use discipline to get children to obey commands. Our goal goes way beyond that. We show our children how to develop self-discipline where they make good choices regardless of who is or is not watching them. This is how character and integrity is developed.
