The Montessori School of Wellington is a C.C.M.A. associate member. The Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (C.C.M.A.) is an organization which is dedicated to upholding standards of excellence in Montessori education. C.C.M.A. is the only organization which actually inspects school to ensure that they are providing authentic Montessori programming. C.A.M.T.
Our school is a full member of the Canadian Association of Montessori Teachers (C.A.M.T.) The goal of C.A.M.T. is to maintain and improve the quality of Montessori education in Canada. Our staff benefits from the various updates C.A.M.T. issues on developments in early childhood education, and from the various conferences which they hold.
N.A.M.T.A.
We are also a member of The North American Montessori Teachers Association (N.A.M.T.A.), which provides support to Montessori schools and teachers by way of publications, conferences and seminars.
A.M.I.
All of our staff hold A.M.I. diplomas from the Foudnation for Montessori Education.
Our school is used by the A.M.I. Training School in Toronto (The Foundation for Montessori Education) as a location in Guelph where Montessori students do their practice teaching. Over the years, we have had the privilege of helping and encouraging many new students in our classrooms.
AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
The Montessori School of Wellington received an Award of Excellence for ‘Best Practices in Early Childhood Education’ from Wellington County Child Care Services and the Ontario Early Learning Centre.
