About Our School

The Montessori School of Wellington was founded in 1996 and operates out of Dublin Street United Church on Suffolk Street in Guelph. We are conveniently located near downtown in a beautiful residential area of Guelph. Our spacious classrooms are fully equipped with authorized Montessori materials. We have the use of a large gymnasium and outdoor play area where children have the opportunity for physical activity on a daily basis. We make good use of our proximity to Exhibition Park – one of Guelph’s oldest and most beautiful parks – and take the children there on a regular basis.
Our Teachers have all successfully completed the A.M.I. Montessori teaching course offered by the Foundation for Montessori Education in Toronto and the owner of the school was trained by Renilde Montessori, granddaughter of Maria Montessori. |
